About Bilgs Studio
Built from one achievement I didn't want to forget.
Bilgs Studio started with a simple idea: the moments you train hardest for deserve more than a screenshot or a forgotten route file.
The story
Why I started Bilgs Studio
I started Bilgs Studio because of a feeling I had after completing my own marathon.
Like a lot of people, I had put in the training, the time, the early starts, and the discipline to get to the start line — and even more to get to the finish. After all of that, I wanted a way to remember the achievement properly.
Not just as a file in an app.
Not just as a screenshot on my phone.
Not just as a medal that might eventually end up in a drawer.
I wanted something physical. Something that captured the route, the effort, and the story behind it.
That idea became Bilgs Studio — a one-person maker business creating handmade 3D printed keepsakes for people who want to keep meaningful achievements visible.
The spark
It started with my own route
Completing a marathon made me realise how easily big achievements can become digital memories. Bilgs Studio was born from wanting something more lasting — something you can hold, display, and come back to.
"The idea behind Bilgs Studio started with the simple question: how do you make an achievement stay visible?"
The studio
Made by hand. Every single one.
Bilgs Studio is a one-person maker business based in the UK. Every piece is designed, printed, checked, finished, and packed with care.
No factories. No middlemen. Just a hands-on process built around craft, attention, and respect for the story behind each order.
The machine
The printer is part of the story
At the centre of the studio is a Bambu Lab 3D printer, used to turn digital routes and product ideas into physical pieces. It is where every layer is built, checked, and refined.
The printer gives Bilgs Studio the freedom to create detailed route keepsakes today — and explore new custom 3D printed products in the future. The focus will always be the same: useful, meaningful objects made carefully, one order at a time.
How it's made
The process
Every piece starts with a route, an idea, or a story worth keeping. From there, it is designed, printed, checked, finished, and packed by hand.
01
Upload or share your route
Send the GPX file or route details so the piece can be created around the route that matters to you.
02
Design the piece
The route is prepared and turned into a clean 3D layout ready for printing.
03
Print and finish
Each piece is printed, checked, cleaned up, and finished by hand.
04
Pack with care
Your order is carefully packed and sent from the UK.
What's next
More than route art
Route keepsakes are the first focused collection from Bilgs Studio, but the studio is built around a wider idea: using 3D printing to create thoughtful objects that feel personal, useful, and worth keeping.
As the studio grows, new products may be added — but the approach will stay small, careful, and maker-led.
What matters here
The principles behind every piece
Made by one person
Every order is handled directly, from design to packing.
Built around real stories
The best pieces are connected to effort, memory, place, or achievement.
Care over mass production
This is not a factory process. Each piece is made with attention.
Room to create
The studio can grow into new products while staying personal and hands-on.
Turn the route you earned into something you can keep.
Whether it was a marathon, a ride, a hike, or another challenge, Bilgs Studio helps make the memory physical.
